I have been working with Nuala for four sessions now, and I have to say she has been a great teacher thus far! She tailors my lessons to suit my learning speed and she checks in to make sure I have enough homework and also, that I am not overloaded. She includes various interactive tasks in her lessons; verbal conversation practice, written character practice, and typing pinyin with real-time dialogue exchange using mobile phone/laptop devices. All this and much more, whilst keeping a good focus on pronunciation. She is helping me to get comfortable with being uncomfortable - which naturally happens when you attempt to tackle a language such as this. Patient, warm and encouraging - a big thumbs up from me.

Huiwen is teaching my two daughters age 6 and 11. She is a very experienced teacher which makes it much easier for my two daughters to learn this difficult language. I had tried to teach my daughters myself as I am a native speaker. However, after a few lessons with Huiwen , I realised she has great knowledge and methods of teaching Mandarin.
