Personal Description:

I'm a Double and Electric Bassist, Pianist, Guitarist and Drummer based in Birmingham, UK. With 10 ten years worth of experience as a Composer, Educator and Performer in various settings. I have performed with leading musicians around the UK and the US such as the Black Voices, Percy Pursglove, Jean Toussaint, Soweto Kinch, Clark Tracy and Jeff Williams.

Tutoring Experience:

I have six-years worth of teaching experience and have taught in settings ranging from large ensembles to school classrooms. I'm currently employed by B:Music at the prestigious Symphony Hall concert hall working with children aged 12-18 on music. Regularly, I teach on their Generation Ladywood programme which included workshops for children around Birmingham and an opportunity for the children, at the end of the programme, to perform on the Symphony Hall stage.

During my under-graduate studies I taught as a tutor on the Juniors course at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire teaching children all ages Jazz and Classical music.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm fast, adaptive and a very disciplined teacher offering experiences not just for the children to learn the written and reading skills but also to highlight the fundamentals of music so they can develop their own voice in the music.
