A few months ago I began to learn the alto recorder with Laura, having recently retired from a lifelong career in education. Therefore my opinion of her and her teaching is informed by my extensive experience of many teachers and teaching methods, as well as my own specific experience as her pupil. I am very happy to say, without any reservation, that she is a terrific teacher - kind, knowledgeable, and always encouraging of my efforts. I can't believe how much progress I have made in such a short time, and the credit for this has to go down to her positive and targeted support of my learning rather than any (somewhat limited!) natural ability on my part.

Lewis has been unbelieveable as a Tutor. I found him as i wanted to get my wife some lessons. After the first 2 she was hooked practicing every day, it was as if Lewis fanned the Piano flame that had been hidden all this time! He has been brilliant with timings of lessons and mentoring on Piano as a whole. His announcement of moving was the saddest day ever and anyone of age or skill would be lucky to have him… thank you!

Lewis is a wonderful piano tutor; knowledgeable, patient, kind. He has taught my 10 year old for nearly a year now, and Luke absolutely loves him. He caters his lessons to get the very best out of Luke, and as such, Luke isn't afraid to ask questions if he doesn't understand something. Luke actually looks forwards to his piano lessons, which isn't something I thought I'd ever say! Another bonus is Lewis's piano - it's beautiful and Luke is so lucky to be taught on it. We are so sorry that Lewis is relocating - we will miss him greatly.
