We couldn't be happier with having Michael as our son's tutor for the past few months. Our 7-year-old is an absolute beginner and Michael has made this a wonderful new experience. We have been impressed with him from the first email we received. He is patient and encouraging with our son and he has done more than necessary to adapt the lessons in order to accommodate my son's age/size/abilities so that he wouldn't be put off by the obstacles they presented. He is always professional and friendly and we look forward to seeing him each week. Most importantly, from our son's point of view, he makes learning fun. The only downside is that after knowing Michael and seeing how his lessons work, our daughter became disgruntled that her tutor for another instrument pales in comparison! He is a lovely man who we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I'm currently really enjoying my lessons with Mike. He makes it really easy to learn and go at your own pace. Our lessons are always fun and I think it's important to listen as well as play during lessons so I always enjoy hearing Mike play. It's very inspiring and keeps me motivated to keep playing. I am often busy throughout the week and sometimes don't get time to practice as much as I like but Mike is very easy going which really fits my learning so I don't feel forced to pick it up, now I've learnt just to pick it up naturally! Definitely would recommend Mike, he's cool!
