My two sons, 14 and 12, were close to giving up piano. On returning back to the UK from overseas, we found a new teacher for them through their new school but it just did not work out. The boys were frustrated and disinterested and they really wanted to give up. Before allowing them to quit we thought we would try a new teacher and found Jack via First Tutor. Within a few weeks Jack had reignited the boys interest in piano with both of them now choosing pieces they love and they are making real progress. Jack's ability to engage the boys, as well as his musical talent, sets him apart from our boys previous teachers.

Lovely, warm and engaging approach which both Ben and Louisa respond well to. I wasn't sure if Ben would take to lessons at his age and being a typical boy, but the techniques seem to be doing the trick as he hasn't complained once whilst also seemingly making progress! 2 year-old Hannah seems to be catching the bug too and regularly taps away at the keys in a vaguely musical rather than just noisy way - we'll have to sign her up next :-) Thank you Annette!
