I find Joanne to be an excellent teacher of the recorder; she quickly found my level and chooses music appropriately to consolidate what I remembered from 40 odd years ago (!) together with introducing and encouraging me into new territory i.e. the higher octave together with all the sharps and flats! She clearly explains music notation and is very patient. She has also kindly advised where to purchase music and about upgrading my instrument. I'm really enjoying my lessons, playing the recorder again. Thank you.
