I was just a little sceptical about trying to find a teacher via the First Tutors website, which I had never of heard of; but when I realised that I wasn't going to get anywhere via the Local Authority website I persevered and we are very pleased with the outcome. I exchanged a number of emails with John, asking questions about various details. He answered each of them clearly and straightforwardly, which gave me the confidence to arrange a trial lesson for my daughter. We have now arranged weekly lessons. She is very happy with John - and so are we. He comes across as personable, reliable, positive and quietly encouraging.
