Michelle is an absolutely wonderful teacher. I was looking for tuition on how to improve my articulation and expression on the cello (I am currently grade 4/5). Michelle tailored all the lessons exactly to my needs showing me techniques on how to improve my playing. She went far beyond vibrato, but also included tips around posture, breathing, tuning and musicality. I absolutely loved working with Michelle and it is only now (a couple of months later) that I really realize how much she taught me. I dont hate to hear myself play anymore (And getting there with the vibrato). Anyway, I would highly recommend Michelle as a cello tutor even to advanced students - she's great!

Lucy is a great teacher for my son who is learning cello and is currently around Grade 3. He had been learning before but was demotivated and had stopped playing. Under Lucy's tutelage his interest has picked up again and he is now looking forward to his lessons. Lucy is very patient with him and encourages him while also teaching him some of the theory behind the music. Although at an early stage we are very pleased with the way that lessons are going - Lucy seems to be an excellent teacher.

Isabel quickly responded to my initial enquiry and I have been having lessons with Isabel since September. I can play the violin but am a cello novice. Isabel is very positive in her teaching style which suits me very well. Isabel always sets me enough work to reinforce my progress each week while also challenging me to get to the next level.
