She addressed the basics of my stance, posture, embouchure, breathing, fingering. We agreed a plan, starting with the basics (needed, after such a long time) and I valued her professionalism and guidance.

She also has a good sense of humour which helps when i make mistakes, which are many! I am looking to work towards grade 3 and Hannah has veen very supportive and helpful. I look forward to my lessons and would recommend without hesitation.

I have had 2 lessons with Andrew to date and he is very professional, articulate and engaging. He has quickly assed my standard and organised the session around what I need to focus and practice on. He has an excellent manner and he also uses his own instrument to give me guidance and reference point from which I can gain greater understanding. I appreciate it is early in the musical relationship but I would definitely recommend Andrew as a very good teacher of the clarinet.

Andrew is a wonderful Clarinet teacher for our 12 year old. With lessons initially on zoom and now in person he has managed to put our shy daughter at ease and has quickly tuned in to her way of learning. She says he is the best teacher she has had, and it is a brilliant added bonus that he can also teach her piano. I can highly recommend Andrew, he has been flexible, polite and is clearly a talented musician.
