Portia is a warm, friendly and relaxed teacher, who at the same time brings a great depth and breadth of experience and knowledge, and can offer (if required) a holistic approach to learning the art and joy of singing. She is really sensitive and adaptable to the individual student's needs and learning style. Working with her just over a few months, I feel I gained a huge amount in understanding, technique and confidence. I can definitely appreciate the improvements to my singing, and the expansion of my abilities and potential. All this whilst having lot of fun and some really interesting & stimulating conversations. I cannot sing her praises, nor recommend her too highly. If/when I decide to develop my singing further, I shall certainly be hoping I can return to her tuition.

Keren teaches me classical singing. Even though I'm far from advanced in it, as a violinist I know that not a lot of music teachers are as lovely as her, and I feel really lucky to have came across her. She is such a sweet, enthusiastic teacher and at the same time really insightful -- she is great at explaining even the vaguest sensations you'd feel when singing "properly", so when it comes to improving technique, she's been incredibly helpful. Talking about music with her is an absolute joy as well, you just know that it's what she loves doing. I've had quite a few teachers before, but I know that Keren is the best I've had (at least for me personally!). I'm excited to go to her lessons every time, and I feel very glad after each lesson because it's always so pleasant. I would highly recommend Keren to anyone considering her lessons!
