Chris tutored me when I decided to set myself a project of completing my Grade 8 in clarinet (15 years after I should have done it, if I hadn't given up on exams as a teenager). Chris is a great teacher and took a close interest in my progress, helping me to hone the technicalities of the music and also helping me to correct some bad habits I'd picked up over the years. While working together I saw a real improvement in my playing and I passed my exam (with a distinction!). I'd certainly recommend Chris as a clarinet teacher, particularly in my case for advanced students.
