Karen's feedback about Ed (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Battersea)
Ed. is very amicable and brilliant at explaining any music theory concepts that I throw at him logically from all different angles. A rare sparkling gem tutor that I've taken so long to find it is a sacrilege to have to share the truth with you! How are you so utterly rational man? Ha!
Matthew's feedback about Carol (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Bristol)
I have been a mature student of Carols via online for ABRSM G5 Theory. Our weekly sessions are well structured and Carol has experience, knowledge and patience to guide me through the areas I have found more tricky. The sessions have been enjoyable and encouraging. I elected for online lessons for convenience even though I live less than a mile away and these have worked extremely well and I was delighted with my Distinction result. I would recommend Carol to anyone looking to pursue their music ambitions.
Jane's feedback about Daniel (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Bath)
Daniel is working well with my daughter to advance her theory and is friendly, professional and has been flexible with lesson times when other commitments have been unavoidable. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose him again in the future.
Neil's feedback about Isaac Hunter (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Highbury)
I got in touch with Hunter to help prepare me for a grade 8 theory exam that I was taking a month later, and I wanted some structure and tutoring for that. I was worried not only about the content, but being able to do it in the time. The whole experience was excellent. Hunter was knowledgeable, friendly, knew the ABRSM syllabus and how they marked, understood what I needed, and helped enormously. He was also accommodating in terms of finding times that suited me. Particularly helpful aspects were helping me a have clear structure for the free melody composition, understanding the harmonic structure of the pieces before I started answering, and thinking about chord function contextually. I got to the point where I'd taken in all I could a week or so before the exam, so paused my lessons. I took the exam and passed, and would now like to have some more sessions to look at composition.
Neil's feedback about Andromachi (Expert Music Theory tuition near Highbury)
I have been working with Maggie for a few months on improving my understanding of the theory and practice of harmony – I’d taken online theory courses up to grade 8 and wanted to consolidate and extend that. Maggie has introduced topics each week and given me exercises to work on during the week, and we go through my answers in the next lesson. I have found the lessons and accompanying homework enjoyable, challenging and instructive, and Maggie is delightfully positive and extremely knowledgeable. I have learnt so much!
Jimi's feedback about James (Beginner Music Theory tuition near Fareham)
Really helpful and friendly teacher, already learned more than I thought I was capable of and it's only been a month. Highly recommend
Abigail's feedback about Susan (Beginner Music Theory tuition near Woodford Green)
Susan has been a fantastic teacher to Eva. She is very thorough in going over the syllabus and ensures no stone is left unturned. My daughter has been with Susan since mid-January 2022 and has already taken her Grade 1 theory exam in April and passed with a very high Distinction. My daughter is progressing through the Grades with Susan and I have no doubt my child is fully supported to achieve her potential. Susan is fantastic and would 100% recommend her! I am a very fussy parent and she has surpassed my expectations. Thank you Susan for your continual hard work and support.
Tracy's feedback about Adeline Roseanne (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Tower Hamlets)
Diane is extremely friendly and her style of teaching is working really well for my 17 yr old. She has really helped him with his Music Theory already in the last 3 lessons and we look forward to more going foward. She is also very patient with responded really quickly to my endless questions. Massive thank you
Breda's feedback about Thady (Intermediate Music Theory tuition near Edgware)
Thady is a joy. He listened and understood what we needed to make progress in music theory. My daughter now looks forward to her lessons and is much more confident in her knowledge. I can’t recommend Thady highly enough.
