Dot's feedback about Timothy (Intermediate Music Theory tuition near Hitchin)
My teenage son is having theory lessons with Tim. He is very happy with the tuition and is improving each week. Tim is very kind and easy to get on with. He has always been very accommodating and seems invested in the students needs Highly recommend Dot Atkinson
Caroline's feedback about Rahul (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Wandsworth)
Rahul is currently working with my son to get him through grade 5 theory. He is very easy to get on with, and very patient and thorough when explaining topics. He has tailored everything to my son's needs and I would definitely recommend him
Samanthi's feedback about Ioanna (Intermediate Music Theory tuition near Richmond upon Thames)
I wished to relearn ABRSM Grades 3-5 Theory as I'd forgotten most of it. I found it easy and fun to learn with Ioanna. She always had good explanations for how theory works and was patient when i didn't complete all my homework! I would highly recommend her and will miss my lessons :)
Leibe's feedback about Marat (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Peckham)
Marat is an amazing teacher of music theory! He has been helping me prepare for the ABRSM Grade 8 theory exam. He explains principles of theory in a clear and succinct way that makes them easy to understand and, just as importantly, to remember. He makes the explanations relevant to the exam (such as the realisation of figured bass) by explaining the principles within the bigger picture of musical theory. In just a few lessons with Marat I have learnt more than I did in several courses at colleges in London. Not only do I feel more confident about doing the exam, but, because Marat is so interesting and engaging and so good at bringing theory to life, I am thoroughly enjoying my lessons, and will most certainly continue studying theory with Marat even after I've done the exam.
Lisa's feedback about Laura (Intermediate Music Theory tuition near Batley)
School Year 11 GCSE music and theory grades. Lovely family. Made my daughter and me feel welcome. My daughter said that Laura’s personality made each lesson enjoyable. My daughter achieved a grade 7 in her music GCSE exam and grade 5 theory exam.
Alice's feedback about Charlotte (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Fulham)
Charlotte is an excellent tutor. Highly organised and systematic, professional, very clear in her teaching and sets high standards for her students. Our daughter was well prepared for her Grade 5 Music Theory exam. I would recommend her without hesitation.
Zachary's feedback about Maria (Beginner Music Theory tuition near Manchester)
After having my first music theory lesson and starting out as a beginner I feel Maria did a great job introducing me to the world of music theory and notation. As a DJ/Producer looking to better his skills in song writing and hopefully getting a job in audio branding, Maria helped me get the ball rolling understanding the very basics of theory such as the C major and C minor chord. She also taught me about triads and what tones are. Upon this she went into great detail of what the differences were and what everything meant so I could fully understand things. I shall be booking in with her again, great tuition from Maria.
Peng's feedback about Joanna (Beginner Music Theory tuition near Highbury)
Joanna is a great teacher! I learned so much from her!!!
Rebecca's feedback about Marguerite (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Hampstead)
Patient, fun and highly effective in teaching Grade 5 theory. Marguerite's approach was intelligent, accessible and positive. She was also highly organised and efficient.
Cian's feedback about Zoe (Advanced Music Theory tuition near Rugby)
Zoe understood my position right away; I had signed myself up to take a grade 5 theory test in a months time and I hadn't touched a theory book in over 3 years from when I used to play piano (grade 3) and my theory back then wasn't great anyways. She kindly offered to help me throughout the month to bring me up to speed with theory at this grade. Understanding the speed at which we had to go through every single book so that I had no gaps in my knowledge (thats right, we sat through grade 1-5 books week in week out), Zoe explained everything there was to know in each grade to me effectively and efficiently. She would also make sure the speed we were going at wasn't too fast and repeat any parts that I didn't quite grasp the first time. Zoe's excellent teaching enabled me to go onto getting a distinction at the end of the month for the ABRSM theory test and I honestly can say I wouldn't have been able to do that without her commitment to helping me at any moment she could. She was even kind enough to offer her help through Facetime and phone calls at any time of the day if I needed her help with a certain subject! Zoe was a fantastic teacher and I will definitely be coming back to her when I move onto grade 6 theory. Thanks again Zoe!
